Clinical Services

Assessment, counseling, and psychiatric medication is available for children, families and individual adults who are dealing with a wide variety of behavior problems, including depression, anxiety, child abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and substance abuse.  Individual, group, and family therapy is available.  Most health insurance plans are accepted for these services.  A sliding fee-schedule is also available for Somerville residents.  Home visits and community outreach is available as needed.

Clinical services for children, adolescents, and individual adults include:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric and psychological assessment
  • Individual, group, and family therapy
  • Psychopharmacological evaluation and treatment
  • Day treatment
  • Outreach and rehabilitative support
  • Intensive case management
  • Crisis intervention
  • Community consultation and education

For individuals with both a psychiatric disorder and a substance abuse or addictive disorder, an integrated treatment plan for both components of the dual diagnosis is provided.

For individuals who are living with HIV/AIDS, a specialized team provides outpatient counseling in close collaboration with medical providers and case managers at Somerville Hospital.
